WC boys still young I think they start 4 sophomores but they are fun to watch.The thing I like about this team is they share the basketball no i on the team.The game against Alleghany has been move to Thursday night afraid for bad weather Friday night.

Sorry Hawki I should have clarified I was talking about the boys game, but to answer your question. To the best of my knowledge, all the Alleghany girls were playing, they just seemed to have an off night offensively, as can happen. Elkin had a girl #32 Thomas maybe that really played well.

Alleghany vs Wilkes Central boys game should be good!!

Alleghany girls have dropped a few games recently. They lost to Elkin last night. Was someone hurt and didn't play?

On the schedule for Friday night is what appears to be a big early contest for control of the top spot in the conference.


2A Wilkes Central (7-5 and 4-0) travels to Sparta to take on 1A Alleghany (12-0 and 4-0).
