I have while vinegar and balsamic vinegar. Can one of these be substituted for rice vinegar?

To be honest, these are the recipes that Bushman posted a while back. The first one looks good. I have not tried either one of them. Try sending Bushman a PM, he will tell you which one is best!

The secret is you have to use JFG mayo at least for it to taste like Makotos in Boone. Will see if I can find my Mokotos recipe this evening.

Shrimp sauce

1 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons white sugar
3 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons melted butter
3/4 teaspoon paprika
3/8 teaspoon garlic powder

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, white sugar, rice vinegar
melted butter, paprika and garlic powder.
Mix well, cover and refrigerate

or...

2 cups mayonnaise
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon garlic juice
3/4 teaspoon ketchup
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon paprika
3/4 teaspoon white pepper

(be easy on the white pepper. if you overdo it, that will ruin the whole thing).

Heat up some margarine, add garlic and sugar.,
add a little ketchup , a lot of mayo, and a hot sauce, like cholula or the Asian rooster sauce. ,

I believe it's just a mixture of mayo and ketchup. Let me look it up.
