SNAP (Spay Neuter Assistance Program) sponsored by the Humane Society of Wilkes (HSoW) every Tuesday at the Wilkes County Public Library from 6PM-7PM to help persons/families that reside in Wilke County only to get their pets spayed or neutered at a significantly reduced cost.

Program is INCOME RELATED. You must bring PROOF OF INCOME, or if on public assistance a FOOD STAMP CARD (EBT) or MEDICAID CARD is acceptable, and be prepared to pay amount due upon sign-up because we issue you a voucher to pay for service.

FOR EXAMPLE: Income of $15,000 or below a year cost to spay/neuter cat or dog is $25. LAW REQUIRES RABIES VACCINATIONS are up to date so if pet is NOT current there will be an additional charge of $7 for rabies vaccination. Total cost would then be $32, a savings of over $100.
