I'd be happy with a Harris Teeter

Ahh, if they're a higher end grocery store then I would definitely give it a try. I have no real complaints about Lowes, though.

Wikipedia

The first Trader Joe's store was opened by founder Joe Coulombe in 1967 in Pasadena, California.[6] Starting in 1979, it was owned by German entrepreneur Theo Albrecht,[7] until his death in 2010, when ownership passed to his heirs.[8] Trader Joe's is a subsidiary of German supermarket chain ALDI Nord.[9] The company has offices in Monrovia, California, and Boston, Massachusetts.[10]

Trader Joe's is not low end or cheap. They sell organic, locally sourced food.

I'd @ least give 'em a try; we did Aldi, and now we Wilkes Countians love them.

Is it another low-end grocery store, like Aldi?

I went to Aldi a few times, but honestly found their produce and meat to be pretty disgusting. Cheap, yes, but there's a reason! I think I bought a few bags of chips, but that's all.

If Trader Joe's is similar then it may do well, but I probably wouldn't use it. But then again, we already have Walmart, Save-a-Lot, and Aldi to cover the low-end shopper, and I don't if there's enough of a demand for yet another one.

I wish we'd get a Whole Foods instead!

I've never been inside of one, or really even seen one that I can remember. What do they sell?

I love Trader Joe's and would support one, but I really don't see it happening.

There's no way Trader Joe's would come to Wilkes, it doesn't fit their "brand".
