Old yeller, is a poster that complained about everything using his other screen name nc268. He would complain about everything from snow to Tyson. Driving through Roaring River yesterday the roads was in better shape than Rock Creek road. The DOT is doing what they can but since old yeller has four wheel drive he should be able to not be stuck at home.

If the DOT is a complaint, go figure. They are doing their best. Snow has never been common here.

Take advantage of the day and be grateful. Lots of folks have months in winter with snow and survive. It is an event here because snow is uncommon.

My road got plowed midday Monday. I drove Rte 18 yesterday from Wilkesboro south and it was bare. Somebody did something right. I stopped in at Food Lion. The usual stuff was low from folks stocking up for the big storm. Poor whiners.

Just read an article on JP site that explained this fiasco. Hamby orchestrated it with not much help. Sickness and lack of equipment. Perhaps someone will learn a lesson. Maybe not

My road is still the same as it was. WTF is wrong with democrats? They don't want people working, they make up excuses to justify the empty shelves in stores. Have you noticed all the 25 to 30 year olds dying? This is getting bad.
