Why do Christians insist on Adam being six day creation?

God by his design of us gave us a day to Rest.
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

I haven't seen such a display of gross arrogance since the last time I listened to Trump. Where do you come off stating God's intents and reasons. People rest when they are tired God is NOT people. The whole problem with people like yourself and your Bible is that you can't envision a Supreme Being that doesn't have some human characteristics.

God rested from all his work. I rest; don't mean I was tired. Just wanted to relax and rest. God was making a example for his people to do. Does that help you?
on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Can you not understand that Adam was made into a flesh man after being formed ? He Adam became a living Soul

What did the Lord God Tell Adam to do that six day creation was to do? Nothing.
the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
18 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
19 And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
