I have family members that went to a christian school in Wilkes and all 3 of their kids tested and placed in remedial classes at Wilkes Community. They were so upset and thought the college was against them.

Well when your kids finish school at a sub-par level and can not score higher than an 850 on the SAT, don't sign them up for assistance.

Hangy, you don't have a clue. As far as not teaching religion in public school, hey that's ok let the ones that don't want religious influence in their lives go on to public school. But don't make the ones that go to private school pay for it. I am convinced if parents could get 14,000 dollars per head and take them to private school it would just about pay for it.

Seriously, these christian private schools are simply a money maker for local churches.
They buy a curriculum and do not even require the teachers to have much education.
It is basically vacation bible school all year.
