Keep your dogs in a safe place! People can be crazy, but anyone who wants to hurt a precious little dog is just plain EVIL.

It makes me so angry when people get pets and leave them outside to roam - especially when they live near a busy road where the pet can easily get run over. Please don't get a pet if you aren't willing to take good care of it.

Whenever the cats come back, spray them with a water hose! That's what I would do!

we haved lived on our street for almost 7 years and had several renters move in the house next door. well the most recent idioit introduced himself by asking me if i couldnt shut my dog up. Well as my screen name implies I responded with " well shes a dog and they tend to bark being dogs and all" if something happens to my dog this guy is going to have a long talk with a short stick.

I have a Yorkie too, and if stupid cats dug through my trash, I'd let my Yorkie kill them! If anybody hurts my cute little dog I'd shoot them! My best advice is to keep your nieghbor away from your dogs, and if you get a chance, send your nieghbor and thier cats to the pound where they belong!!!

Some people are so fed up with all of the dogs running loose around here that it doesn't take much to set them off. Chances are good that a loose dog will end up dead in my neighborhood due to a real nice old neighbor man that has just had enough. He goes crazy. If you love your dogs keep them on your own property.

My neighbors dogs chases my call all the time and it is in our yard when they do. These dogs lives 4 houses down the road from me. One of them has run me into my car and back into the house while I was in my yard and on my property. So what would you suggest I do about this. They will not do anything with the dogs, they run loose all over the neighborhood and have threaten to bite several people that visits at our neighbors homes. I would take care of this my self but what a racket it would cause. There is only one dog that is agressive. Don't hurt the dogs my eye, what if one bites you. Are you going to let it. It hasn't yet but I will take care of that dog if and when it happens. These people have been told. I love dogs too. I don't want too, but I have to protect myself, don't I.

this is a true story...when i lived in wilmington, (outside the city limits) someone lived down a dirt road that ran alongside my house. they lived in a trailer. their dogs kept gettin over to my property and carapping in my yard, and getting in my trash. they had no fence, or anything to contain their dogs. i asked them to be a little more considerate.
their dogs kept coming over to my house, and when i would run them off, they would growl at me and show their teeth. i called animal control, and they wanted to rent me a trap, but siad that they couldn't help me.
one day, my daughter and her friend were out playing and one of the dogs attacked them.
i killed one of their dogs...and i love dogs.

It makes me sick to hear people say just put poison out for animals it takes a cowardly piece of s#*? to poison animals go to google and look up poison - dogs and read what it does and think of how bad they suffer...i have pets if they went on anothers property and they said put them up or else i would put them up for the love for my pets and for the respect of neighbors and if i didnt then i would rather him shoot it than to poison him and let him come home and i have to watch him suffer and die slowly

I agree with rh1962 but if you see his cats on your property then take apic an call the pound and tell them that they are in your trash and on your car !!!!

Even if your dog is on your property but no properly restrained and someone shots it, all they have to say is they felt threatened - end of discussion. It's so important to take care of our animals if you are going to have a pet take care of them.

i have 2 dogs, and i keep them fenced in a big yard. i love dogs, but even if i lived in the country, i wouldn't let them wander.
and, when i did live in the country, i never liked it when my neighbors' dogs would come onto my proerty, and chase the birds, and get in my pond, and poop in my yard

IF YOU LIVE OUT OF THE TOWN LIMITS , THERE ARE NO PET RESTRICTION LAWS , YES I AGREE PETS NEED TO BE CONTAINED AS BEST AS YOU CAN , BUT IF HE SHOOTS YOUR DOGS FOR NO GOOD REASON OTHER THAN THEY RAN ACROSS HIS LAND .... THE HUMAN SOCIETY WILL TAKE RIGHT GOOD CARE OF HIM .
