A lot of the ladies I have had in my classes can out shoot their husbands and boy friends. The are quick to learn and don't have the idea they know every thing about guns. Them gals can shoot

Amax it is my understanding that the shooter bought the rifle sometime last Feb. and passed a NICs background check.

If it were a pack of coyotes attacking I still wouldn't waste time with an AR when double aught buck could get the job done with one shot.

I just read on another site that the owners of the gun store that sold the rifle have closed their business indefinitely out fear of being attack even though they did nothing wrong and broke no laws. The amount of vile attacks on their yelp page has lead to yelp shutting it down to clean it up. Most of the post are from people who have no idea what they are talking about.

If I was in bear country I'd definitely carry something big enough to stop one with one shot. It definitely wouldn't be an AR-15. I'm thinking at least a 30/06 all the way up to a 12 ga. loaded with a mag rifle slug.

Excatly 168, this world is getting more and more dangerous. Back in the day you could leave your doors unlocked, pick up people on the side of the road and drive them into town or just not have to worry as much. Now you never know like that old saying goes never take a knife to a gun fight.

Violent crime has dropped in every state that has enacted CCW. Like Heinlein said a armed society is a polite society.
