The post about them helping out with churches and civic events are just a way to hide there shady ways of doing business. He is all about himself and don't care about anyone else.He will lie to you directly to your face.He is a piece of crap and the community should know exactly how he is. He took their family business that has been in there family for many many years and in four years nearly put in bankruptcy.

I was told that Frontier Gas (natural gas) was buying out the LP Gas companies. Anyone know if that is true?

probably when and if the customer gets the next bill ?
i'm on auto fill and ain't seen them yet this year (since april),
but being fair they usually come in december,feb,and april
only use the furnace from the end of nov -first of dec through late march-early april

I'm glad that the current employees of Tarheel Oil are still gonna be employed for the new outfit; I've never had a problem with the Yorks; I wasn't too crazy about Gerald Lankford during his Holly Farms/Tyson days.

The Lankfords and Yorks are some of the best people in Wilkes County......
Through the years they have been major supporters for local school, civic and religious endeavors.
There are many factors that go into business decisions that have taken place.
To attack them in this manner shows a limited grasp of the entire situation.
All I can say is God Bless You,

The Lankfords and Yorks are fine people and don't deserve this. IF, they have chosen to sell their business, that is an issue between them and their employees. Not the public at large. I believe that this type of thread shouldn't be allowed. This is a personal attack not a conversation about Tar Heel's prices, service etc. If someone has a personal issue with a public figure and wants to call them out using that person's name, they should provide their name in the thread too.

I'll have to agree with lucky that is a terrible way to let the employees know. Will they treat their customers better than their empoyees? I'm glad I don't do business with them.

Thompson Gas bought out Ashley's of which we were then their customers
at the time they charged no tank rental, but that changed
so we do biz elsewhere
Thompson is based out of Pa.

It's finally offical ThompsonGas has bought out Tarheel oil. All employee's still have job for now. Tim **** or Arthur ****** either one had enough b**** to tell anyone they hand written a note and left it on the counter for the guys to read the next morning as they came to work. The lankfords and the Yorks are pieces of trash in my opinon.
