CBS

The opinion was Per Curiam -- that is, it was an unsigned decision, and the Supreme Court did not release the breakdown of the justices' votes. But because there were also no dissents on the question of hearing arguments in the travel ban case, it's assumed that that the decision to take it up is likely to have been 9-0, or unanimous. This is was the way that the president and Attorney General Jeff Sessions interpreted the opinion.

What's 'watered down' about a unanimous 95 percent victory for the President, and a STAY against the liberal judges that ruled against him, that the SC said, 'went too far'.

Must be hard being a liberal these days searching for anything to hold on to, when a 'WOKE' nation is stomping you into dust.

And now there's PROOF of Russian collusion, only it has nothing to do with Trump.

It's obama collusion, and Lorretta Lynch collusion, and Hillary collusion, and now calls for obama to be questioned under oath, and a full investigation into Hillary's e mails.
And those voices are going to get louder and louder until it happens.

You liberals quit your whining because President Donald J. Trump can add another win to his list. Just go on to bed and things will look better after you have slept on it. Us Deplorable's have won so much here lately we are actually getting tired of wining. Just kidding you liberals, you all are just first in another great big line of loses.

Sure thing, the travel ban will work just like banning guns does, criminals / terrorists will still get guns: any terrorist who wants to enter the US from any of the 6 countries will get a passport and travel from a different country. Bluster and BS, that's all this is.

Gee Anti, for three hours today I heard many money people saying things like, This is a huge win for Trump" 'Count this as a victory for Trump".

Some were Trump supporters, most were just people who love what he is doing for the market, and the money they're making.

Which by the way, opened UP again, and continued to rise through the morning. I don't know how it closed today.

But I do know that you are just another anti Trump piece of biased liberal trash.

It's definitely not a win for Trump, but I think it's a fair and reasonable compromise.

The problem all along was that his ban was too broad and mostly just based on race.

The nations that Trump wanted to limit were Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Libya, Yemen, and Somalia:

http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/...e-vetting/

And the list of the 7 most dangerous countries in the world are Syria, South Sudan (not Sudan, but South Sudan, which is like confusing the US with Mexico), Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Yemen, and Central African Republic:

http://www.atlasandboots.co...ld-ranked/

For unknown reasons, he skipped Central African Republic and Ukraine (7th and 8th on the list), chose Sudan (9th on the list) instead of South Sudan (2nd on the list), and then jumped forward to grab Libya (10th on the list).

He was also refusing the entry of refugees, which was the biggest problem. People that had helped us in the war in exchange for a promise of safety were being refused, which would have a negative long term impact on our war efforts.

I honestly don't know why the Supreme Court allowed the 6 nations they did (the same as Trump's list, minus Iraq), but they solved the problem with the refugees. Which was my largest problem with the ban, anyway.

President Donald Trump took a victory lap on Monday after the Supreme Court restored most of his executive order banning incoming travel from six terror-prone countries.

'Today's unanimous Supreme Court decision is a clear victory for our national security,' the president said in a statement shortly after the high court ruled. 'It allows the travel suspension for the six terror-prone countries and the refugee suspension to become largely effective.'

Liberals, not only did President Trump win, but you did also in protecting you from those who have no qualms about committing suicide to kill you.

The court is allowing the ban to go into effect for foreign nationals who lack any "bona fide relationship with any person or entity in the United States." The court, in an unsigned opinion, left the travel ban against citizens of six majority-Muslim on hold as applied to non-citizens with relationships with persons or entities in the United States, which includes most of the plaintiffs in both cases.
Examples of formal relationships include students accepted to US universities and an employee who has accepted a job with a company in the US, the court said.
...
The ban, which bars people from Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen from entering the US for 90 days -- outside of the "bona fide" relationship exception -- could take effect in as little as 72 hours.

I really don't have a problem with this decision. They removed the countries that weren't high on the list of dangerous nations, and they added the "bona fide relationship" clause. This solved both problems with Trump's plan.
