Brother Jeff was a very talented & important member of our music community, and a dear friend who passed away back in July. In order to keep his spirit alive, the fine filks at Echo Mountain Recording Studios created a scholarship fund in honor of Jeff, which will grant a selected student a scholarship to Berkely School of music.

Ryan performed at one of the Downtown North Wilkesboro events several years ago, back when Melissa and I were more active with them... was it the Shine to Wine Festival? Everybody loved it and talked about it for a long time! I'm more of a rocker, too, but even I can get down with the funk
