I tried Shortstops last weekend. Enjoyed the barbecue sandwich and especially liked the fries. A little pricey compared to other fast food places.

Anyone been to Shortstops?

Went last weekend. Was not impressed at all, The tables didnt look like they had been wiped off all day. And the barbecue was pitiful. May have just been there a busy time so well wait a week or two and give it one more try. Will say the tea was very good

Last I drove by, a Hwy 55 restaurant sign was near the movie theater but no progress had been made on the site. Does anyone know the status?

Also, a while back JC posted that "There was a rumor that Fast Lane Bar & Grill was going to open there" on 421, near Red's Home and Garden. I saw the sign for that went up in the last couple of days.
