I wish you luck. Keep your hopes up and try to remain confident but don't but any work clothes just yet. A lot of times these companies will give interviews just to say they are fair don't discriminate, but they will come up with a reason not to give a job such as don't meet qualifications, etc. I don't know what it is with the social system? People just won't let stuff go......

I think thats awesome! I have one charge from 2002 and even walmart cant look past it! I am always honest about it because they are gonna find out anyway, so I figure its best to be upfront about it. I hope you get the job!!!

They are probably toying with you.

Go to the interview and tell them you are the best candidate for the position.
Back up your statements with truthful information about your skills and experience.
Look em in the eye and smile as though you own the interview.

During the online application there is a question in regards to any criminal record, I answered truthfully with a yes, weeks later I received a call and have an interview coming up. My question is , seeing my response about my past beforehand, would they still schedule an interview? Or is that possibly something they could work past and the interview a good indication of so?
