It's been so rainy lately, at least the woods aren't dry!

I hear they're making progress on containing it and that it may be an all night job. I just pray the wind slows down and they can get it out before more damage is done. That is so scary.

I saw the helicopter with water and was wondering where it was going. Looks like it was getting water from the pond at the college? I hope they get the fire out quickly.

Firefighters are still fighting it, that's all I know

Anyone have updates on the big fire in Moravian Falls? Its off the road that goes up between Food Lion and 4 Bros on 16. I know there are copters dropping water, several fire depts involved, and threats of the fire going toward 421 and Wilkesboro Elementary.
