Johnny Depp has had a rough few years. His ex, Amber Heard, accused him of beating her, which has led to him being fired from... well, everything. He was fired from Pirates of the Caribbean (they're seriously going to re-adapt the whole series to use Margot Robbie ), and then from Fantastic Beasts.

But it appears that the whole thing was a lie by Amber Heard, and that she was the real abuser all along.

She actually admitted on tape that she was the one to beat him:

And at one point the police came to their home where she claimed that he had destroyed the apartment and beaten her, but in court Depp was able to show the LAPD bodycam footage of the night... proving that her "testimony was one more grandiose lie."


It has taken Depp YEARS, because he has been forced to repeatedly prove his innocence against nothing more than her claim. His reputation is destroyed, his career is virtually over, all because of an abusive ex that decided that she wanted to hurt him one last time.

Worse, she's taking advantage of the #MeToo movement, and making it infinitely harder for women that really were abused.
