It we actually had free market capitalism where workers had as much say as corporations, that might work. Let the workers set their own wages and the corporations take it or leave it and chose to stay in business or go our of business.

We've moved further and further to the right on taxation since the 50s. The top income tax bracket was 90% taxation under Eisenhower.

If I can make the same living off the government then I will close up my business and stand in line with you for handouts. Of course the money will run dry and then we can starve together.

America is not just you. America is every person in America. Making you more money by letting others do without is not America. So, you make less money. Others will have better lives. You are not special no matter what you think. You could always go to Russia with your business.

Personally, I believe that if tithing is good enough for God, then it ought to be good enough for Uncle Sam. You will be putting a lot of people out of business. Lol. Thousands of businesses hired more and raised wages after taxes were lowered. They will all reverse that progress if taxes go back up. Stick with what you know. That's not much, I know. Let people who run successful businesses handle the intricacies of running a business.

I included my taxes going up in that scenario. That's why there is a spread. I would have to pre pay more taxes to make sure I don't owe or get a penalty.
