if you live near 268 e iga you are better off going to Ingles in Elkin. Always full stock of meat and markdowns due to low foot traffic.

Ingles Elkin support north carolina business thank you

Rabbit...

YOU look at the comments and show where I said anything against them...in fact, quite the opposite, I took a position in defense of the widow...

Read for comprehension

The last time I bought hamburger there [ ground chuck ] it was red on the outside and brown on the inside. Haven't bought any more meat there since

Nothing for nothing, but that's how ground beef is supposed to look! The red color comes from oxidization, and air isn't supposed to get to the interior so it stays a grayish brown.

If you buy ground beef that IS red on the inside, then it's either been mixed up (which means they moved bacteria from the outside to the inside) or food coloring has been added.

Square up means to settle your bill...Are you saying people owe IGA money?

It also means to fight...are you suggesting a fight with the detractors of IGA?

I don't guess that I will plan on going to the Wednesday sale at Iga tomorrow. The meat counter was completely bare. I saw French fries & onion rings in one cooler that had been syraned wrap up for sale, whats up with that? Did they thaw out and the store is trying to safe a profit? I have never seen those two items sold that way before. Hmm Sure does have all the signs of going out of business for sure.

maybe she is not adept at running a business . And unwilling to pay someone to run it for her. Then it only makes sense to sell it at the highest value she can get out of it rather than let its value decline to nothing. Im sure that would be her husbands wish rather than see it de value to where she got nothing from it

A person would stay at a job @ 7.50 per hour because they enjoy it. Some of those people like Marie have been there for years, and I would guarantee people shopped there because she was pleasant every time, and a wonderfully helpful person. When I went through her line, I knew I would grade A service.

Was she paid what she was worth? Heck no! Even If she was having a terrible day, she treated you like seeing a family member she hadn't seen in a while.

Point being, some people have dedication and drive to do the best at whatever they do. They are given a task and will perform to the best of their abilities. Hourly wage isn't the driving factor, they have that deep character that makes them want to be the best they can be.

@ chindo:: I never judged anyone, yet if someone is already worth millions because of their spouses business related investments, yet after their passing they still desire more? Sure, they can do whatever they desire, yet again "Respect" is what i'm speaking of.. Each & everyone was born with nothing & that's how they'll leave to their destiny Like it or not. Monies are worthless in Heaven & Lleh...
