A lot on the Joseph T. Post makes good sense. I was born in the thirties and have owned guns since I was seven years old. I do not carry a weapon in all of my excursions, but a lot of times I do. It is getting to the place where I am thinking I should go armed about all of the time. not only for my own protection, but also for those around me in need of help. I really do not want to shoot anyone, but in defense of a woman, helpless person or child, I would not hesitate.

And if the dems had won in 2016 you would already have massive gun control in the works now, it would have been the progressive libs in control of every part of our lives. The gov't armed forces would be fighting US citizens in the streets, the police would be more militarized and shooting anyone that resisted.

Why Carry a Gun?

I don't carry a gun because I'm angry; I carry a gun so that I don't have to spend the rest of my life hating myself for failing to be prepared.
I don't carry a gun because I want to shoot someone; I carry a gun because I want to die at a ripe old age in my bed and not on a sidewalk somewhere tomorrow afternoon

Police protection is an oxymoron: Free citizens must protect themselves because police do not protect you from crime; they just investigate the crime after it happens and then call someone in to clean up the mess.

China established gun control in 1935:

Guatemala established gun control in 1964:
From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Uganda established gun control in 1970:

During WW II, the Japanese decided not to invade America because they knew most Americans were ARMED!
Gun owners in the USA are the largest armed force in the World!
