Not trying to argue, but... that makes no sense at all.

If God is perfect, then He knows everything. If He knows everything, He knows the future. This means that when He divided the Light from the Darkness, He knew that you and I would be having this conversation, right now.

He knew what choices we would both make, and whether those choices would lead us to Heaven or H***.

If it's all preordained, how can there possibly be free will?

If we do have free will, though, then that means God doesn't know the future... which means He's not perfect.

antithesis I know I have Free Will to do what I want. (Thank you JESUS for revealing If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin )
God gives everyone free will. Jesus the Christ gives life. You got Choices in life. Satan can't make you go against your heart neither can Jesus make you obey him. If it's not in your heart to obey God you want but if you got the heart to follow Jesus. You Will not leave his words. Under no circumstances..

antithesis

God gave us Free Will to do as we Please.

Don't you believe that God is omniscient? That He knows the future?

God does what he wants to we can't make him do nothing but he can listen.

Following up on the above... no, He already knows whether the sick person will be healed, etc. There can't be a condition that if this specific person asks, or if just the right number of people ask, then the future will change...

Although it IS true that in Numbers 14 Moses pleads with God and He changes His mind... but if that's true then it would mean that God is not omniscient or perfect, and doesn't know the future.

God knows your heart how many times in your life have you ask for something and got it.

Truth be told... I can't think of any time, ever. When I was younger (and honestly, a lot more religious than I am now) I would often turn to prayer as a last resort, begging God for help when all other options were exhausted. But I can't think of a single time where He intervened.

Matthew 7...

So to simplify... you're saying that this means that if someone is sick and a Christian prays for them to recover, then God will grant the wish and they will recover. But if a Christian does not pray for them to recover, then they won't

------:
. A pray is asking requesting for something. God says to ask and it will be given. We ask always that his will not our will be done. God gave these bodies a way of curing itself How about antibodies to overcome illnesses on it own. So I pray through Jesus that he will talk to the Father. Aint no guarantees just that we pray for those that are sick and even the evil. Let's God will be done.
Praying It's called having compassion on people. God gave us Free Will to do as we Please. God does what he wants to we can't make him do nothing but he can listen. God knows your heart how many times in your life have you ask for something and got it. How many times have you asked him to help you out of a situation and he's done it? You're a child of God's shouldn't you pay attention to your father? The Father wants all his children go to Jesus to be SAVED. how did you learn about the father? It was through Jesus Christ Lord and SAVIOR. It's sad that people can't accept the fact that there is a CREATOR.

antithesis. LISTEN TO this..

8For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

9"Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! 12So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

When you christian are sitting in your pews listening to the Good News that you don't follow remember this..

Matthew 6
King James Version
6 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:

4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

Can you show anywhere in the Bible that it's appropriate to pray for these things?

As far as I can tell, Jesus said that there's only one appropriate way to pray: go to a room by yourself, close the door, and recite the Lord's Prayer given in Matthew 6.

I don't think that the Bible says anything about asking for things or making wishes, even if they're altruistic like wishing for a sick person to recover. God is omniscient and omnipotent, which means that He knows the future and chose for the problem to happen... and praying for Him to change it would imply that you think that you know better.

I am truly interested, can you show me where the Bible says that it's appropriate to pray and make such requests?

Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit

(Joel 2:28-32; John 16:5-16; Acts 2:1-13; Acts 10:44-48; Acts 19:1-7)

15If ye love me, keep my commandments.

16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

18I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 19Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. 20At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. 21He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. 22Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? 23Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

25These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. 26But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Matt.5 Verses 43 to 47

[43] Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
[44] But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
[45] That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
[46] For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
[47] And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

antithesis:: speak your mind. Don't you want people to get to the Father? Prayer is a part of loving people. I hope all will open their hearts to Jesus and accept him as Lord and Savior. Don't you realize how people are being manipulated. If it's Jesus obey him if it's Satan obey him. You can't straddle the fence long before your character is revealed.. Where Will you fall? Life eternal with Jesus 🙏 or the lake of FIRE 🔥🔥🔥

Repentance changes the heart.. Christian religion encourages sin
----;---
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.

37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father
