Some of you are determined to railroad this woman to jail. The guy was abusing her, she shot him. That should be the end of the story. It is like some of you think a woman shouldn't be allowed to defend herself.

No one is trying to railroad her any where. It is almost impossible to calm fear of great bodily injury or death when the person you kill was walking away and you shot them in the back if what has been posted is the what happen.

I noticed some one posted Kelly's criminal history on one of the threads. Did any one check hers?

That was me... and good point. Here's hers:

January 2019 she was arrested for DWI, and given probation.

Then in April 2019 she was arrested for Breaking and Entering. It was plea bargained to a misdemeanor (what's a misdemeanor B&E?), so she was given probation again in January 2020.

She was clearly no prize, and I have no clue how she still had custody of her children.

This is a total miscarriage of justice.

I just saw this today my friend that I posed about in this tread went to court today. The two time felon got it put off again until next month and as far as I know he still as a warrant for trespassing and hasn't been arrested yet.

I told her her right in front of her lawyer standing in the open court room door I hope they do something before he kills one of them.

I noticed some one posted Kelly's criminal history on one of the threads. Did any one check hers? Seriously doubt she is in the running for mother of the year. His record wasnt nearly as bad as George Floyds but then again folks said Floyds record didn't matte cause he was a victim

There is absolutely no evidence that he beat her, ever. His charges were for assault, not battery, which means he yelled at her.

Her cousin, XXwethehardEST, said:

Sometimes verbal abuse is worse than physical abuse even though both was happening to her and her children! But she didn't have any marks on her.....please! Her and her kids have scars for life because of that POS!

So mental scars, sure, but not physical. And you don't have the legal right to murder someone because they hurt your feelings, no matter how many times they did it.

And I doubt that the kidnapping charge would have stuck... he locked the door and wouldn't let her leave the room for a short period while they argued, that's not quite the same as knocking her out and throwing her in the trunk of a car. That's more like Parent-trapping.

It use to be legal for a man to beat his wife. Remember the rule of thumb? There must be a few people who still believe that. It seems they are all republicans and Trump followers.

How many times does a woman have to be beaten before she can be in fear for her life?

Did she think he was going to his car for a weapon? The fact is she didn't have to really be in danger, she just had to believe she was in danger. I would think I was in danger if someone showed up at my home against a restraining order who had beat me and kidnapped before.

The fact that he was at his car and shot in the back is what makes me believe she wasn't in fear for her life. And since the police arrested her, and the judge didn't give her bail, I'm only guessing that she said something during the arrest that led them to believe the same thing.

How do you know he was leaving? How do you know she wasn't in fear of her life when she shoot him? A person can be shot in the back and still be the aggressor. I just say a video where a cop shot a guy in the back actually running away from him and that was considered in self-defenses.

But the castle doctrine requires a presumption of fear of death or serious bodily harm:

Since he was leaving, that does not apply here.

A castle doctrine, also known as a castle law or a defense of habitation law, is a legal doctrine that designates a person's abode or any legally occupied place (for example, a vehicle or home) as a place in which that person has protections and immunities permitting one, in certain circumstances, to use force (up to and including deadly force) to defend oneself against an intruder, free from legal prosecution for the consequences of the force used.[1] The term is most commonly used in the United States, though many other countries (see below) invoke comparable principles in their laws.

In fact, If anyone shows up at my home creating problems, restraining order or not, I will shoot them.

If I take out a restraining order against you and you show up at my home, that is going to be pretty capital. If this happens, I an going to shoot you.

So some people think it's ok to go to see the person who has a restraining order against them! Its ok to yell and argue!

No one said that it's OK, just that it's not a capital offense. The fact is that he didn't hit her (this time, at least, I know nothing about their history) and he was leaving, so shooting him in the back was just because she had gotten her feelings hurt.

And the judge obviously thinks the same thing, or he would have set bail for her.

The proper thing for her to have done was to tell the police that he had violated the restraining order. Since they gave him probation so many times in the past I don't know if that would have really worked, but considering the pending charges they should have arrested him for it, and at least given him an ankle monitor.

She is in jail because the cops didn't think she was a person of influence. That is the type of individuals who ends up being beaten bloody and buried in our jails.
