Favorite Talia coffee

I used to go there all the time. The house coffee, is good but it's really really smooth.... Which is not a bad thing but sometimes I want a stronger taste.... adding an extra shot doesn't really help so when I get tired of Talias for awhile, I'll go to McDonald's for a taste I'm more used to... And McDonald's has the best coffee in town for a fast food joint.

My favorite flavored drink at Talias was the white owl. However after drinking one every day for months, I tried another drink....one of the seasonal specialty drinks.... And what I came to realize is that it tasted just like the white owl....I had the same experience with all the other flavored drinks.
I guess my taste buds aren't sensitive enough to distinguish the different flavors....it was all just sweet coffee to me

On another kinda unrelated note, I have some connection to the family and there was some drama going on at one point (which I will not discuss)....but it had nothing to do with me....I just didn't want to get tangled up in that in any way and just gave them all the space they needed..... enough time has passed though that I don't think they care anymore and they've all moved on from what I can tell.

Personally I don't want sugar anywhere near my coffee.

Tell them to give you a sample of their flavors like Ice Cream shops do in those little sample cups.

They should offer that anyway. They would sell more to people like you who want to taste, but don't want to waste on one you don't like.

But since we're talking about other flavors at Talia, I tried the Hazelnut White Mocha last week.

It wasn't great. It was OK, but kinda bland. Not flavorful like the Bourbon Caramel or Snickers frappe that I usually get.

I'm hoping one of you suckers... err, I mean "good folks" will try the Roasted Chestnut for me and let me know if it's good

I wanted to go by Talia this evening, but they close too early and I missed it I don't know why they close the drive-thru at 7 when the highway is still packed... I go to dinner and want a frappe dessert, and they're already closed!

So I stopped by Mickey D to give their Mocha Frappe a try.

Yuck! I don't know how you drink that! I'm almost certain that they blended vanilla ice cream, ice, instant coffee, and some chocolate syrup. It tasted like one of their chocolate shakes but a little thinner

A large was about the same size as the medium that I usually get, and it was cheaper: $3.62 with tax versus $5 even at Talia. But I threw half of it away when I got home.

As much as I've bought from them, they should give me some stock options or something!!

I find myself getting the same 3 or 4 flavors, though, so I was hoping to hear what other flavors people like the most so maybe I'd branch out. I hate to get one and not like it, it's sort of a treat and if it sucks then I don't get a do-over.

If I didn’t know better, I’d think you had a vested interest in Talias.

You’ve just about talked me into going by tomorrow and getting myself one of those over-syllabled hot beverages.

I had to look it up, a medium frappe at Mickey Ds is $2.89. I was thinking they were $4, but I haven't been there in awhile.

If you haven't tried one from Talia, believe me, there's a huge difference!

During the summer I get them to add a scoop of protein powder so I feel like I'm doing better... not that it really helps any, but I get a little delusional during the summer

IDK

I’m pretty sure I can get by at Mickie Ds for under two bucks.

Once in a long while I’m willing to pay 4+ for something special.

I also like using a French press to make my own.

The quality of flavor is directly proportionate to the number of syllables in the name

It's only around $4.50 for a medium, so it's about the same price as one at McDonalds but so much better! And you can get a lot of different flavors. I always do frappe, though, because I'm a fat pig that's trying to compensate for not getting a milkshake

That’s a lot of syllables.

Is that why the coffee is so expensive ?

What do you get? My favorite is usually the Bourbon Caramel Toffee Crunch, frappe
