The FBI is a federal agency under the direction of the President of the United States.

Governor Roy Pooper didn't do squat about the investigation or arrests. We are simply lucky that Pooper didn't screw it up for the FBI.

I'm not really stupid enough to think that this falls in any politician's lap.

Yes, you are.

Roy Cooper is making NC great again! Much to the consternation of the GOPigs.

LMAO, I had to say that since #TBPE said the same thing and gave credit for the MS-13 arrests to Trump, even though the investigation had gone on for 2 years. I'm not really stupid enough to think that this falls in any politician's lap.

But here's the article.

Dozens of gang members indicted in WNC on numerous charges

The US Attorney’s Office says 83 alleged leaders and members of the United Blood Nation gang have been indicted on numerous charges including federal racketeering conspiracy charges and other charges including murder.

Hundreds of officers participated in the arrest of 73 of the suspects Thursday morning. 10 suspects are still on the loose.

“The murders, the assaults, the robberies, the drug deals, each and every crime committed by these ruthless gang members was a blow to the safety of our communities,” says Special Agents in Charge of the FBI in North Carolina John Strong.

“Innocent families should not suffer because of the violent actions of others. Anyone who tries to fill the criminal void left by today’s arrests should know, the FBI and our law enforcement partners will come after you next.”

Agents and officers seized 36 guns, cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin, marijuana, MDMA, prescription pills, other narcotics and drug paraphernalia, counterfeit checks, credit cards and gift cards, and credit card making devices.
