Don't ask why children need to see drag shows

I deduce from f*xxy's post that there are no perv's on the faculties of private schools, is this true?

Gee foxnit, I sure hope you're not allowed to be around children.

Then it seems you've got no dog in this fight fox.

If you turn your children over to the pervs in public school you get what you deserve. GET THEM OUT NOW

That's exactly what I'm saying. This isn't a real problem, and when it is a problem, it seems to get handled by school administrators. It's all literally fear mongering and taking a few small things that have happened and blowing them out of proportion.

Here is the good thing. You folks won't be having children. It takes the mating of opposite sexes to produce children. In the case of accidental pregnancy, you wouldn't carry it to birth.

The closest I can find is where the DEI Committee of Meadowlark Elementary in Colorado passed out rainbow flags at the entrances of the town's Pride celebration, which also included a story being read by a drag queen:

Nothing at all about it actually being in a public school.

Has anyone actually shown any proof that this actually happen

How do we know that you're safe around our children?

If you know of parents that allow their children to watch drag shows on TV report them to the DSS. If you know of parents that take their children to live drag perfomances report it to the police. You can beech all you like on this or any other site but it wont change a dumm thing.

If you feel the need to continue the narrative on this site you need to get a hobby or better yet a life!

Don't get me wrong, hillbilly, I completely see the benefits in exposing the children to alternative lifestyles. I just can't decide whether the government has the right to enforce it, even if that enforcement is through social pressure.

I haven't read the whole thread, just the first post and these last 20. Are you saying that it's not actually happening in public schools, but only in after school events? If so then I don't know what the problem would be.

It only takes 1 time for a child to be destroyed. We must have a zero tolerance policy for perverts around children

But anti, how often do you think children in public schools are interacting with drag performers? Like school assemblies, during school hours? Not an event put on by a club in a high school for people who want to come. It seems to me it's mostly a non-issue that's being sold to these people as if they're sending they're kids to bdsm club every morning when most of the time, a lgbt club in a high school gets a drag performer to come to an event. The faculty gets lazy and doesn't vet the acts very well, then a 16 year old sees a man's but cheek and Fox News viewers have a heart attack.

I've thought about this topic for awhile, ever since it first hit the news that drag shows were reading to kids in libraries a few years ago.

And I'm honestly torn.

On the one hand, we're talking public schools. The government does not have the right to force its citizens to take part in something to which they're morally opposed. And an opt-out policy isn't much better, since it would still put those kids in a position to be isolated and bullied by the other students.

But on the other hand, children of ignorant parents do need to be exposed to alternative lifestyles if we ever hope to put an end to the hatred and fear. The ones that would opt out are exactly the ones that need it the most!

So I honestly can't say whether I am for or against this.

Yeah we don't need to be exposing 13 year olds to h*mos and men in dresses! We need to wait three years and then let underdog ogle and drool all over them.
