"Comparing a years with of data to a few months doesn't work."
There you are. What don't people understand about this?
If I remember correctly, someone else from the right was trolling Smonk the other day before it hit New York hard. They were using data that didn't even hold up on a day-to-day basis to try and compare it with data from an entire year's worth of flu cases. Are people really not that bright?

Actually, you brought up Drumpf at 8:27. But, whatever. Spin around in circles if you must.
Look, if you have numbers relevant to the conversation, let's see them. I'd love to see them. Refusing to post them is just being argumentative for no reason. If this is just about you trolling Smonk, just admit it.

It does work because she made a prediction about the number of COVID19 deaths and insinuated that the sky is falling.

Comparing a years with of data to a few months doesn't work.
Also, until all the testing information is made available we simply don't know how many people have died due to this virus.

Ah, you don't like being called out on your fear mongering. Did you find those CDC stats on flu deaths yet? Come on, give it a try.

These are your words fins not mine.
Here's a idea why don't you hop back over to goashe where you can try and manipulate there. The ship don't work here.
In an article accompanying the research, Shigui Ruan, a professor of mathematics at the University of Miami, emphasized that estimating the coronavirus death rate "in real time during its epidemic is very challenging."
But understanding how many people die from a virus, he said, is an important piece of data that can help guide responses from governments and public health authorities.
Ruan, who was not involved with the research, also noted that the coronavirus fatality rate is low for younger people. But he stressed that "it is very clear that any suggestion of COVID-19 being just like influenza is false," with coronavirus remaining far deadlier than the seasonal flu.

This isn't about trump. Stop deflecting. You know how to use google. Come on, you can do it. I'll give you a hint. It's within less than 400 of monkeys prediction

I'm very interested in the CDC numbers. I'd love to see them. Do you have them handy?

Here's a suggestion. Leave your fellow Drumpf out of it. Try to think rationally without focusing everything on defending a guy who royally messed up our preparation for a novel virus.

I actually didn't say that at all. But nice try. Re-read what I did say and see if you can figure it out.

So nw you're doubting the CDC data? Y'all have been praising them when their info supports the downfall of Trump. Now, do you know what the number is?

And there's the problem. We don't know the numbers. We have a decent idea about flu numbers, obviously, but we don't even know how those might be adversely affected by a novel virus.
Now, in August? Yeah, maybe you can make a more educated comparison. Otherwise...not very wise.

I dunno...I hope I'm wrong, but I get the feeling posts comparing the flu to a highly contagious novel virus aren't going to age well...

Typical of someone like you, to take quotes out of context of a conversation and change the point.
Let's talk about your cherry picking. Do you know how many people die from the flu in NC?
