minton2004: Remember the things you loved about your dad and don't give any fertile soil to negative comments. You knew him best. I'm sorry for your loss.

I didn't know the deceased, nor do I know the family members, but I do know this... regardless of how I felt about someone while they were alive, I would, without fail, show respect to their grieving family members. And if I couldn't find it in me to show respect, I surely wouldn't disrespect the family by saying some of the things that have been said on this thread.
I personally know that sometimes when you're grieving, your emotions are all over the place. You may react more harshly to a comment than you normally would.

If you didn't like someone while they were alive, fine... but you don't have to disrespect a dead man knowing that the people who loved him are reading/hearing. That's just in poor taste, IMO.
I agree 110%

This is to Debbie because I've known you personally for years, I am so sorry about your brother, I wasn't sure until I read the obit that he was your brother. God Bless All Your Family In This Time Of Sorrow & Pain. I lost a brother a few years ago & it really broke my heart. Take care.

Okay iron dragon I said I wasn't gonna get involved in these petty conversations but now you've crossed the line.. This is her fiance JAYCN OWENS speaking now, it's easy for you to hide behind a computer and talk junk, she's upset that she lost her daddy, pretty sure you would do the same thing if you lost yours and someone was talking smack.. You saying if you don't like it suck it, yea that's real mature, if she upset you that much then just let it go, Tree was a good man, sure he wasn't a saint but not many of us can say we are.. If you feel you need to say anything else say it to me and leave her alone, she not only has to deal with the death of her father but then she has to read posts from disrespectful people like you.. Let it go or talk to me, I aint hard to find!!

I cannot believe how disrespectful some people can be. This girl is grieving over the horrific death of her father and all some of you can do is sit back and talk trash. I'm sure that this girl is going through enough right now without your bs. Noone is perfect and neither are you.
