Sampson is a good place Richland rd takes you from Sampson rd across the mountain to 321. It has a number of creek crossing and rock crawling sections. The Sampson side has been renamed Penley rd. It is easy to get lost and end up on private property down there if you don't know where you are at. I suggest asking around and find someone who can show you the way it shouldn't be hard lots of people ride dirt bikes, 4 wheeler and 4 wheel drives down there.
Two very important things One never take just one ride its a long, long walk out of there if something happens and 2 keep you mouth shut and mind your own business while down there.

Y'all are talking about 4x4 muddling right? Be never done it but it sounds fun as ****. Do you have to have a Jeep or jacked up 4x4? Could it be done in something like a forester?
