As 'ol burden's nominee for AG, garland feels entering our country illegally is not a crime.
Well, first off, it's not... it's a civil offense with a $50 fine.
Second, that's not what he said:
Hawley asked Garland if believed "illegal entry" into the United States should remain a crime. "I haven't thought about that question. I just haven't thought about that question," Garland said in response. "I think the president has made clear that we are a country with borders and with a concern about national security. I don't know if a proposal to decriminalize but still make it unlawful to re-enter. I just don't know the answer to that question. I haven't thought about it." ... Hawley pressed Garland following his admission, asking the nominee if would "continue to prosecute unlawful border crossings" if confirmed as attorney general. "This is, again, a question of allocation of resources," Garland said. "The department will prevent unlawful crossing. I don't know. I have to admit, I just don't know exactly what the conditions are and how this is done. I don't know what the current program even is with respect to this. I assume the answer would be yes, but I don't know what the issues surrounding it are."

(A)involve violent acts or acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State, or that would be a criminal violation if committed within the jurisdiction of the United States or of any State;
So if it happens at night while the courthouse is empty, then no it's not domestic terrorism because their isn't a victim.
