That is about stupd for a parade. Might have known it came for the Halls of North Wilkesboro.

Wilkes Chamber of Commerce, Town of North Wilkesboro, NC and the Town of Wilkesboro - Government will be holding the 2020 Wilkes County Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 5th beginning at 3:00 p.m. and continuing until 5:00 p.m. Due to the pandemic, this year's parade will be a "reverse" parade. Reverse meaning the parade participants will park and remain stationery while the spectators drive by and view the various entries.

The location and drive-by directions for the parade are: Parade begins at Independent Avenue in North Wilkesboro, continues to Wilkesboro Blvd., then crosses the Yadkin River Bridge that connects the two towns and will conclude at Main Street, Wilkesboro.

Wilkes Chamber will be facilitating the parade again in 2020. The Chamber asks interested participants contact the chamber office for information and to request an application: 336-838-8662. THE CHAMBER WILL REVIEW THE VOLUME OF INTEREST RECEIVED FROM PARTICIPANTS TO DETERMINE THE FINAL DECISION REGARDING THE HOSTING OF THE PARADE.
