It's either memory failing, a bad hdd (Hard Drive) at the worst or merely a faulty OS install. Try and repair windows first. Copy and Paste has absolutely nothing to do with your browser unless it is only happening inside said browser. Ctrl C Copy, Ctrl V Paste whatever is selected or highlighted on screen. I can remote in for you and see exactly what it is doing and give you a diagnosis for a small fee.

also you can highlight the text that you want copied, right click the text with your mouse, choose copy from the list. Go to where you want to paste the text, and right click and choose paste.

its looking like your going to need a new computer

pres ctrl then hit c while still holding ctrl then go to where you want to paste the hit ctrl then while still holding ctrl press v ( make sure text/pic you want to copy is highlighted)

I just noticed I left out something in my post. It is CTRL V to paste.

Depends on version of Firefox. Ctrl P depressed simultaneously works on my Firefox version. So does the version contained in the orange icon for Firefox at the top left. You can always reload Firefox and receive new copy free.

Internet Explorer is CTRL C to copy and CTRL to paste.

Have you tried shutting your computer down and then restarting? I've had a couple issues before and that has corrected my issues.

OK. I tried CTRL C & CTRL P. Same problem. I can get it to copy, but, still no paste. I don't use Firefox (or is it Foxfire).

Any more suggestions?

FireFox updates do that on occasion. Had the same problem until the latest update and it fixed mine.

ctrl c copies

For some strange reason my "copy/paste" is not working right. I can hit the button and copy, but, then when I hit the button to paste, nothing happens. What gives? Isn't there another way to copy/paste besides using the one button? F something or CTRL and something? HELP ME!!!!
