They definitely need someone to turn the program around. It has been sad to see the Men’s B-ball team suffer thru bad season after bad season including the handful of seasons being coached by Call. Ever since Ritchie Cornette left the program it has been downhill ever since.

At least one person from the area has declined the football head coaching job, so who's next on that front for East Wilkes? Let me guess. Jon Gruden?

Really interesting hire! It is better then what we had! I knew Cards4 had to be wrong. Just can’t see a successful Virginia High School coach and a Mid Major College Assistant to be up for this job.

Was just told that Basketball program will be interviewing two candidates for the position. Not sure how reliable the source is but he mentioned it was down to John Ayers and Daniel Waln. No idea about any of the two, should be interesting how it plays out.
