One that put score for the North and Central is wrong on maxpreps.. It was WC- 30 and NW- 0 and was called in 3rd quarter.

Heard Starmount destroyed Alleghany 34-6 off Max Preps; Starmount went ham with the big plays.

Alleghany 32, Ashe 6 according to Alleghany's reporter on Max Preps. If true Alleghany's for real this year; never expected that after the scrimmage.
Starmount destroyed Elkin 41-14; gonna be a new MVAC JV champ more than likely.
Anyone have West Wilkes/Wilkes Central score?

Yes, they did have there game and I was at the game. West lost to Alleghany 15-12

Yes, they did play Wednesday. According to maxpreps Alleghany lost 21-20 to West Wilkes.

Max Preps has Watauga big over Wilkes Central and heard North Stokes beat North Wilkes...

Found several scores for week 3 but hard to tell if they are legit or not. It has:
West Wilkes over North Stokes 49-21 Wilkes Central barely over Surry Central 28-27 Ashe County over Hibriten 34-31..
Are all these legit or false? Need them for record keeping

North Surry 44, Elkin 22
Elkin's numbers aren't great but they play very hard. That RB is as good as a JV RB I've seen and he is deadly for them with those option plays they run. QB's an okay option running QB. Lineplay is where Elkin's season will depend on. They aren't huge but they play hard until they get tired. They will have to rely on that line getting better to contend.
That RB will be the heartbeat of Elkin's JV offense this year.

EW numbers are what they are and that's what they have to play with. Didn't look as terrible as the score says. First time playing a team, no scrimmages or 7 on 7's for the JV's and once they got settled down and the coaches figured out where players needed to play, looked a lot better. Now would they have won, with scrimmages and so on, no probably not. They just need numbers, stay healthy and upbeat. One of the bright spots I did see was that they did not wait for the action to come to them. Mostly aggressive. Remove some dumb errors and these guys can get some wins.
