The 2nd annual Wreaths for Veterans Graves in Wilkes event is being held at Mountlawn Memorial Park on Saturday December 9th. Please join us for a very special ceremony to honor our veterans just outside of the mausoleum at 10am. At the conclusion of the ceremony, we will spread out across the cemetery to lay the wreaths. Each garden has been pre-counted and there will be a wreath available for every veteran grave. If you have a loved one who was in the armed services and is buried at Mountlawn, please come and be a part of this special event by placing a hand made frazier fir wreath on their grave for the holiday season. This event is being sponsored by American Legion Riders Post 31 of North Wilkesboro and the American Heritage Girls Troop NC0345.
