WILKESBORO, N.C. (Feb. 1, 2019) – Emergencies or natural disasters can happen at any time, so it’s important to be prepared. A smartphone or tablet can be a vital tool to help you document belongings, store emergency contact information, stay on top of the latest news or weather and keep connected with friends and family.
With that in mind, U.S. Cellular will host a free Device Workshop in Wilkesboro on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 9:00 a.m. at 1809 US Highway 421, where associates will share ways that your phone can serve as a “digital diary” in times of emergency. The workshop is open to everyone, and you do not need to be a U.S. Cellular customer to attend.
“It’s important to be organized before an emergency happens, so I encourage the community to come to our workshop to learn from our tech experts how a smartphone can make preparing for an emergency easier,” said Nathan Waddell, director of sales for U.S. Cellular in western North Carolina.
