SNAP (Spay Neuter Assistance Program) administered by the Humane Society of Wilkes (HSoW) in partnership with local veterinarians.

Sign-ups at the Ronda Town Hall EVERY 1ST & 3RD WEDNESDAY of the month from 6PM-7PM.

Program in INCOME RELATED so you must bring with you PROOF OF INCOME (i.e. check stub, last year taxes, social security letter, etc.). If you are on public assistance a FOOD STAMP (EBT) CARD or MEDICAID CARD is acceptable as proof of income. Be prepared to pay cost of procedure because we issue a voucher to take to Vet.

FOR EXAMPLE: Person with yearly income $15,000 or below - Dog or Cat spay/neuter is $25. LAW REQUIRES pets to be current with Rabies Vaccinations so if pet is NOT up to date there will be an additional charge of $7 for vaccination. Total cost at sign-up would be $32.
