SNAP (Spay Neuter Assistance Program) administered by the Humane Society of Wilkes (HSoW) in partnership with local veterinarians.

Sign-ups EVERY TUESDAY from 6PM-7PM at the Wilkes County Public Library.

Program is INCOME RELATED. You must bring with you PROOF OF INCOME (i.e. check stub, previous years taxes, social security letter, etc.) or if on public assistance a FOOD STAMP (EBT) CARD or MEDICAID CARD is acceptable as proof of income. Be prepared to pay amount due at sign-up because we issue you a voucher to take to Vet to pay for the procedure.

EXAMPLE: Person with yearly income below $15,000 - Dog or Cat fixed will be $25. However, LAW REQUIRES pets be current on Rabies Vaccinations so if your pet is NOT up to date there will be an additional charge of $7 for rabies vaccination, Total cost at sign-up $32.
