There will be an OPEN HOUSE at Black Cat Railroad Station and everybody is invited to attend and have lots of fun with the trains. We have a large HO Scale model train lay out with over 10 trains running at the same time thru towns, playgrounds, parks, over bridges and trestles. We even have a "Still" as we have depicted the Town of North Wilkesboro, around the Depot in the 1950's. This brings a bit of nostalgia to lots of folks visiting. As we are a non-profit organization there is NO admission charge, however donations are greatly appreciated to help defray costs of operations and repairs (yes, they do break down occasionally). For the tykes we have two Thomas the Tank lay outs, one is electric and the other is manual and they can run them themselves to their hearts content. You'll have to drag them out when time comes, this stands true for the "Big" boys also. Hours are from 10 am to 2 PM.
