The Small Business Center of Surry Community College is offering a two-part seminar on “Marketing Your Business through Social Media”. The first part of this seminar is a beginner’s guide and overview to Facebook, Twitter, and others. It will meet on Tuesday, May 1 from 6:00 until 9:00 pm at the Elkin Center, located at 1461 N. Bridge Street, Elkin. The second session will meet on Thursday, May 3 from 6:00 until 9:00 pm and will be hands on with participants building a social media site for their business. There is no charge for these seminars and participants can attend one or both sessions.
