Wilkes Playmakers and Wilkes Heritage Museum partner together to bring you a performance of the classic American drama Inherit the Wind, based upon the famous 1925 Scopes Monkey Trials. This was the trial of a school teacher charged with teaching Darwin's theories of evolution when it was against the law to teach anything other than the Bible's creation story.

Show times are Saturday 5/19 at 7:30 pm and Sunday 5/20 at 4 pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and senior citizens. Tickets may be purchased online at the Wilkes Heritage Museum website or purchased at the door one hour prior to showtime.
