Beginning Beekeeper Course offered by Beekeepers of Wilkes. 3 in room class days on Feb 25, March 4 and March 25. Class times are 8:30 am - 1:00 pm each class day. Breaks with snacks are provided. Cost of $50 includes a course manual, membership to Beekeepers of Wilkes and membership to NCState Beekeepers Association. A Day in the BeeYard will make up the 4th class on April 1. Students will learn everything needed to start and maintain a new colony of Honey bees with the help of a mentor from Beekeepers of Wilkes. Class at Wilkes Commuinity College in Hays Hall room 313.
