Big Ivy Baptist Church in the Walsh Community of Wilkes County, NC annual Homecoming will be on Sunday, September 9th, 2012.

Service will begin at 11am with potluck lunch at 12 noon. Bring a well filled basket and folding chairs!!!

This is the only day of the year that this little mountain community Church is open.

You will find descendants of Ashley, Beshears, Spears, Phillips, Parsons, Blackburn, Watson, Walsh and Walker families, who were active members from the beginning of its formation. and others 'coming home' to their roots for this one day a year.

After lunch, there will be singing in the Church.
