~Your Christmas Tree

Blueivy

Posted 1:26 am, 12/21/2014

My tree is decked out! Lots of blue, purple, silver ornaments, I have a few personalized 14k gold ornaments. And of course cute ones my kids made and the Grinch ornaments, my fav has to be crystal angels and the ones I've had for years(memories). But one thing I wanted and didn't get was the elf on the shelf, for the kiddos. I love Christmas!!

I just put ours up. The one "motherly" thing my mother did for us growing up was every year she bought us a Hallmark Keepsake ornament. I have all mine plus she's gotten my kids one every year, and I took all my father's when my parents divorced. So that's what is on my tree, mainly.

I put Nana's old tree up this year. It was made before they did prelit 🎄. It's a pretty fake tree. It's been flocked so it looks like it has snow on it. I don't have many ornaments on it cause mine all disappeared.

I have a table ceramic tree with colored lights on it.

This year I put up my old aluminum tree and sat the color wheel in the floor below it. Added a few vintage ornaments, voila, decorated tree.

Hundreds of ornaments, bling galore. Takes hours to take them off or put them on, so I got the bright idea to just cover it with one of the tree disposal bags, slide it back in a corner. All I have to do is slide it out of its corner, uncover it, and bam! There it is, but I don't even do that anymore. I have a ceramic tree on a table that has lights, so that has been my tree for the last 3 years.

I am sure it's gorgeous, Byt.

Lots of bling? I know it does...

I haven't put up a fresh tree in years. I have a permanently decorated one that is beautiful, but I seldom decorate anything anymore.

No, Metal. Put it up. You will, so, enjoy the fragrance and the pleasantry of a fresh tree...

Mine is glittery and sparkly.

It has disco balls, diamonds, chandeliers, and sparkly red and silver balls.

Clear and red lights...

I don't have a "top to my tree".

Mine are in Heaven.

Just some lights... But the other tree is all decorated but I refuse to bring it up from the dungeon.

Feel Burger wishes he could buy a house on Fabrication street in Imaginationland. But doesn't know if Feel Burger could live near Fins.

I decorate my tree with the undergarments left behind by my conquests. I'm up to 4 trees in the house now
