These stories are really interesting. Looks like someone would write a book about them .

For sure there have been way too many suspicious deaths involving those who worked or were closely related to the " sheriff and court ". Joe starling indeed could have won an election if he had not haves died and I agree too suspicious ,too many cover ups and fronts in WC.

If Allan had power of attorney over her , well I have seen how that works.not good . also wasn't she declared " incompetent"? Where is Allan and her anyone know? Seems too " tidy". I've seen how Allan "works".

NC law does not allow a judge to structure a wrongful death settlement to a minor. When they turn 18 they can go to the clerk of courts office and get a check from the clerk who has control of the funds. Not a good situation, but it is the law.

I agree too many suspicious deaths in Wilkes that just got swept under the carpet. Joe starling was another "victim" of public relations cover up. " mastin mafia"? I agree.

My first real responsibility as a young girl was a poodle I bought at 16. Barb had not been grooming for long, and Emily was just a toddler at the time. I remember, we used to talk as she groomed him, if none else was behind me to do and she always had her baby with her, even at work. Now I'm not saying this because of the horrible way she died, but never before or since was there anyone who could blow out a coat like she could....I think it cost...oooh all of 12 bucks back then.
She walso my introduction to Rita Welker, of Welkerhaus Rottweilers.

Barbara's daughter received all the proceeds from the case. Alan was not compensated, he sued on behalf of the daughter because she was a minor. Emily received a check for about one million when she turned 18.

L o L. Let's forget about tom dula. This story and all the suspicious deaths in Wilkes need to be looked at . Where in the world has A district attorney supposed hang his self, deputy commit suicide, a sitting judge drown. One thing is sure people don't care about the truth, go alone with the neat little mastin mafia press releases. Shameful.... Allan was no saint, just followed what he saw on TV with o.j.
