Most folk assume that research dollars are always used for noble purposes and always yield results. The truth is that most research institutions are an organism with a singular goal of institutional survival. Grants enable pompous pHDs to continue their tenured aristocracy. Real research is connected with profit potential. That's why the RTP generates more valuable research than Duke, NCSU and UNC combined. Can't say much about birth control.

The Liberal Socialists know she will support their agenda if elected. They want every senate seat so they can continue with the stagnation of our country. The NRA is campaigning against her because she will vote against the 2nd Amendment if she's given the opportunity. If the Dems maintain control Reid will do nothing and let Obama use his so called pen and phone type of governing.

Voting Sean Haugh is the same as voting Hagen. There are two paths only. Hagen's path is more of the same decline we have suffered already. Tillis may be beholden to wealthy interests, but he represents an ideology that wants to create wealth for more people. Haugh cannot win. Change in this election cycle can only come if Tillis is elected.

After Tillis wins, we should talk about a viable third party.
