Where has freedom of speech gone. No brainer. We have allowed Insane Hussein and the left wing Communist party to usurp it much like we let the Muslim TRAITOR usurp the White House. Can you say 'Political Correctness'?
Back in the day when I was in school, admittedly that has been a long time ago. At any rate, I had a History Teacher who would stress what Freedom of Speech meant to him. I agree with him now!
Freedom of Speech means Exactly what it says and it's pretty simple to understand. They didn't write in any limitations into the first amendment. At least back then they didn't anyway, nor you didn't have 100 different people telling you what it means. Nor did have a 100 others telling you "oh you can't say that because it's offensive!
It doesn't say you can't say offensive things, what it says is you have a right to Freedom of Speech. No where can I find any limitations. It means exactly what it says FREEDOM OF SPEECH!
Freedom of Speech carries a great responsibility any adult should understand that! Back when it was written people were adult enough to understand it. A lot of them didn't have that great of education like today yet they understood Freedom and they understood Freedom Of Speech. People were adult enough to know sooner or later somebody is going to say something they don't like or they might say something someone else doesn't like. They were adult enough to Deal with it when it came up and they handled it. They learned from it!
Some folk are just offended regardless and they sit about to find something they consider offensive. Not to forget that some fok are so immature they look for any chance to say something offensive. Folk like that basically deserve each other
The problem with that is the rest of us are having to put up with it!
Political Correctness is like a cancer it spreads and spreads and one day Freedom of Speech will be totally gone in this country or that's how it seems it's going. The Nazi's used it and look where that got them...You'd think America who gave so much, so much to stop the Nazi's wouldn't use their tools against it's people. Yet here we are...
