According to several Gun Stores I have visited Gun Buying and Gun Ownership, CCW Permits are at the HIGHEST Levels in the past 15 Years !!!

I don't know about SC but in NC we have a law that would have address this and under the law the grandmother or her sister would have been guilty of leaving an unsecured firearm out for a minor.

Gun laws will not work. Enforce the ones ee.already have.

Hangs, honey. We have laws currently on the books. You aren't supposed to shoot someone in cold blood anyway. You know that, right? As for the toddler, you have to WATCH a toddler. When you have a toddler in the house, you have to do things differently or the toddler isn't safe. You can't leave medicine laying around. You can't leave guns laying around. You can't let them stomp the dog. You can't let them climb out a two story window. I could go on......

Toddler takes car on joy ride, nope never heard of a 2 year old attempting that one.

So speed limits, just do away with them because people are going to speed anyway right?

Heck, why have laws against breaking and entering because well people are still going to do it.

The gun laws are working great in Chicago. Only 4 killed and 16 wounded this past weekend. I did not look at Stats for Baltimore.

Nope me either. But I've read about toddlers shooting their siblings.

Accidents do happen, daily. That's unfortunate. Car accidents happen. I'm curious how many deaths we have from accidental prescription medication overdose, etc. I'd say that's fairly high.

But hey guns don't kill people "stuff happens". Like a two year old growing up with the knowledge that he shot his grandmother. I don't believe she died.

Grandma failed to adhere to the concept of baby proofing the home. Probably a bottle of Drano laying around and beside it a bottle of kid vitamins that look like candy.

SRO;s started in the 1960s in Florida. Thats school resource officerd , for the rest of you. FYI they are on duty sheriffs deputies and they are armed
