Come down 421 and get off at Windsor road, there is 4 close together you can try, Shadow Springs, Windsor Run, Laurel Grey, and Rafaldini.

So that was the reason they were chasing me down the parkway.

Are you sure you did not steal any of the dogs from Chateau Morrisette?

What do you like about their Cabernets to spend that much on them?

What type do you like Fin? I don't care as much about price as I do about taste. I also cook with it. If I cannot stand the taste, I am not making Beef Burgundy with it. There is no point, because it will taste horrible.

I'm picky on my CA wines. Basically, if it's under $75, it's crap.

Chambourcin Reserve by Chateau Morrisette is a good solid red. If you have not tried it and like the CA wines, you should.

Try their Horse Stomp Red The taste and aroma of raspberries is loud and clear when it's blended with White Zinfandel. This wine was named for a small community in Alleghany County. Our top-selling wine; try this with dark chocolate! Serve chilled.

If you don't mind a little drive, Childress Winery is spectacular, really good food in the Bistro and I think his museum is great experience.

Raffaldini, by far. Check their website to see what events are happening this weekend.

Raffaldinis is the best in the area except for their La Dolche, I don't like sweet wine. They also have the nicest facility and by far the best views.

If you want to make a day of it, head up hwy 77. Get off at the top of the mountain (va) and get on the BR Parkway. Head north. Stop along the way at some old cabins and Mabrey Mill. Go a little further north towards Meadows of Dan and then (on the left hand side) get off and tour Chatteau Morrisett. Very nice venue and also has a great restaurant on the premises. Would be a spectacular drive this time of year. Enjoy!
