The interviewer asked me basic questions. What's your strengths. What's your weakness. Why should we hire you. Then depending on the position you're applying for, they may ask for a 2nd interview. I only had to go for one.

I have lived and travel all over the world and there is no place like Wilkes. You are a bunch of little animals with nothing better to do but attack each other. I am going to get back on here in a year and laugh at you as you ***** about getting fired from Lowes as they open in India. Why would Lowes pay a bunch of back bitters like you $10.00 an hour when they can get better workers in India for a dollar a day?

Anyway, you're still an idiot lol. Why would Lowe's spend millions opening a CSC in New Mexico, remodel the entire CSC in Wilkesboro and upgrade their systems, rebuild their employee structure, and spend millions to open a 3rd site in Indiana if their goal was to move? You realize between the three contact center sites there will be around 3,000 employees? Go troll somewhere else, pal.
Note from GoWilkes: a portion of this post was removed that was in response to the earlier trolling.

The initial phone interview is a personality interview. The questions and answers given along with conversation are used to score a person'a personality and fitness for the job. If you make passed the phone interview you have done good.

First basic rule as an employee: Never believe management. Management is a natural born lier. If they told you the truth all of you would quit and find another job before they were ready to fire you. So, they lie to you.

All the jobs that are going to be at the CSC in India are already there. They are just contractors already working for Lowe's. Lowe's is just hiring them all on as employees and opening an office to house them in because it costs less to do that instead of keep the deal with the contract company. The India CSC is not going to be an IT Support Center. The IT Support Centers for stores are in Wilkes and Mooresville and they're are no plans to move them. Why? Because as I was told, so customers and stores will always speak to someone they can understand.

Well, the good news is that they offer health insurance. The bad news is, be ready to give your blood results for it. And your weight. And your body measurements.
Good luck with" the job".

Ok, just wait and see. My information comes from top officials of Lowes in Mooreville. Maybe they don't know what is going on in Wilkesboro?

First of all, the call center is not moving to India. There will be an IT support center opening in India. As far as the interview process, you definitely have to have a positive presence during the interview. Questions will be asked regarding how you have dealt with difficult situations, how you have resolved difficult problems, what would you do if a customer became angry with you; how would you diffuse the situation. You have to remember the call center is customer/store support and the interview process is geared towards that type of questioning. Call center (cubicle) work is not for everyone. I, personally, love working at the call center. Good luck. If you have any other questions, feel free to PM me.

It is pretty easy to get hired there as long as you have a somewhat decent work history, and can present yourself well in an interview. It is a good paying job, with good benefits. It can be stressful, way too stressful for me unfortunately. Good luck.
