Power Bill HELP

We don't use our central air to save electricity.

I hang my work clothes (and some of the others when nobody else is home) to save the electric dryer usage.

My fridge and freezer are not on the coldest setting.

The TV does not have to be on all day and night.

You won't freeze to death this time of year in N.C.,.... relax and just go to bed when it gets dark.

IT's up to the consumer, you can have every light in the house on, or you can cut back on the amount of electricity you use each month. You are in control how much you use each month. Everybody complains about there electric bill each month, but how can you, when your in control of it?

Used to be (may have changed), that the agencies that assist with power bills do not provide $ in warm weather. Unless there is a health issue requiring electricity to operate equipment, there may not be any help out there right now. Good luck.

the cost of everything has gone up and I am having to cut back on some expenses like TV and driving the car to the store everyday. I am even considering cutting back on my internet service because I no longer need a fast connection unless I keep taking college classes online.

The places that help are H.O.P.E., BROC, sometimes social services, sometimes the Salvation Army.

Does anyone know of any help out there with a power bill? Somehow I have got behind on mine and I feel like I am drowning trying to keep up. I have never asked for help before. Basically, with no help we will either eat or have power! I work all the time and still can't even seem to break even! HELP!!!
