I caughtyou,
We're sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with your CenturyLink bill. We'll be happy to look into it if you email us at [email protected]. Please be sure to include your name, account information and reference your post here on GoWilkes.com. Also as a reference, our Roadside Protection Plus service offers high quality emergency assistance to stranded CenturyLink motorists every day across the USA, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico including Alaska and Hawaii. The service covers flat tires, locked vehicles, battery trouble and towing/extraction from snow/mud. There is no annual limit to usage, except for one call per seven day period for the same problem. It also offers assistance for home lockout, hotel/motel savings and a deluxe pharmacy discount. The cost is only $3.95 per month and as you can see the service is similar to what you would receive from AAA, only cheaper. The service is accessible from any location (you do not have to call the Roadside Assitance number from your CenturyLink landline) since there's always a chance that you'll be away from home when you need to use the service. Please let us know if we can help with any questions you have about CenturyLink products and services. Thanks. Joey H CenturyLink Customer Outreach

Not creative accounting. Just bad book keeping. When century tel bought enbarq they did away with centralized book keeping and has each territory doing their own. It had ben a nightmare because these offices didn't even have people with accounting experience. they even had some areas that had service outages because centurylink offices didn't pay their electric bills.

FYI: Centurylink bills: I started noticing back in the spring that Centurylink was charging the parents for features they did not requested or have added. Called in...they had to reimburse a few $100. Stopped by this morning as they paid bills and noticed the bill was high again. Once again all these features were back on the bill and one new one A ROAD SIDE ASSISTANCE charge!! We called in, they could not say when this charge was added and the big one. How was it suppose to help them. It is tied to the home phone and if you are roadside they can not be reached ( Rents do not use cell.) In fact the person on the phone said they could not find information on how to use the feature. They said they would call back this afternoon, time will tell and if I were you I would check that bill!
